Where do you go when a starter e-cigarette kit won't cut the mustard anymore? Where do you go when you're looking for something a little more daring, a little more powerful? Where do you go when you've got an unquenchable lust for enormous clouds of vapour?
In our advanced e-cigarette lineup you'll find some of the most technologically progressive e-cigarettes on offer today.
But what makes an e-cigarette 'advanced'?
Whereas many starter kits come equipped with an integrated battery powering the coils, advanced vape kits often come with a mod. If the coil is the engine of the advanced vape kit, the mod is the driver, the gasoline, and the computer all wrapped up into one.
Mods come with both integrated and removable batteries. This means that you can carry spare batteries around to extend the life of your vape on the go, without having to swap out the whole bottom half of your vape. It also means that you can replace the batteries entirely if they no longer hold a charge.
Mods usually also feature a chipset to control the power heading to the coils. This chipset varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, meaning that different mods can deliver very different vapes, even if the rest of the setup is the same.
Some mods, like the Smok Alien, also come with configurable settings pages accessed through LCD touchscreens. This allows you to control the temperature of your vape, control the firing curve to level off after a puff of a certain length, or control the voltage. You can also access granular battery settings and change the look of the screen entirely!
Not so with advanced kits. You'll often find that coils can be sold separately from tanks, since an advanced tank can accommodate many different coils depending on your vape style.
This allows you to run high-resistance coils at low temperatures to keep your battery life long and healthy, or run huge multi-coil setups to create immense clouds of vapour.
Advanced vape kits also allow you to use very, very low-resistance coils at very high temperatures and with specialised e-liquids in a style called 'sub-ohming'—so called because the coils have less than 1 ohm of resistance.
Of course, sub-ohming isn't without its dangers. There have been stories of people who blew clouds so big and thick they couldn't find their way back out of the vapour. Be careful out there.
Maybe this is all a bit high-falutin for your tastes, though. In that case, check out our range of starter e-cigarette kits. You'll find a great selection of less technologically-complicated e-cigarettes which nevertheless deliver on reliability, quality, and ease of use.
At Vapour, we ensure that every advanced kit we sell lives up to our standards of quality and reliability. If for any reason you're not totally satisfied with your advanced kit, let us know within 60 days and we'll issue you a refund.
